Airbnb DIVERSE HOST RECRUITMENT

My legacy at Airbnb has been helping the company unlock new audiences, through flagship initiatives like the Airbnb Entrepreneurship Program, which has solved business and policy goals of increasing host supply while shaping the narrative of belonging and connection central to the Airbnb mission.

The Airbnb Entrepreneurship Academy is a program offering resources to support the onboarding of new Hosts, particularly through workshops to educate attendees on how to get started hosting and 1:1 support from Host Ambassadors. My role has been to build this community engagement program from the bottom up and scale it. When I first started, we were only testing a pilot acquisition program in the SF, I helped launch it in the US, and now we are operating globally across US, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.

As a part of building out the program, I designed educational materials like our decks and landing pages and facilitated our workshops and answered Q&A, while cultivating Host leaders to join and provide support to new Hosts.

Mable leveraged years of experience and knowledge in program management and design, community organizing, events planning, strategic partnerships, public speaking, content production, and intercultural communication, to help Airbnb drive diverse host recruitment.
